Fall season is slowly approaching and it’s imperative that we keep our bodies healthy during the cold weather. Here are few ways to help boost your immune system during cold & flu season, and how these routines can help fight the spread of Covid-19.




Exercising is a great way to keep our bodies in shape as well as keeping our heart healthy. Even in cold weather our bodies should stay active. Physical activity can help build up our immune system to help fight bacteria and viruses; this is especially important for Covid-19. Start by jogging around your neighborhood or in a local gym. Home exercising routines are also available on YouTube.




Vitamins and Probiotics feed healthy bacteria into our digestive system. This helps with strengthening our immune system and weight loss. Foods like yogurt and some teas have probiotics in them. Dress your yogurt with almonds and citrus fruits; this’ll make a great snack.




Eating healthy is one of the most effective ways to build a strong immune system. Proteins such as lean chicken breast, tuna, and eggs are healthy and high in protein. Some other great foods are citrus fruits and almonds. Prepare your meals with some of these foods. Add herbs and spices like ginger, garlic, or rosemary. Elderberry tea is an excellent way to help prevent cold and flu as well help protect your heart.




Rest is crucial. Not getting proper rest could make your body and mind ill. If you have problems sleeping, take a warm shower or bath with Lavender scented products. You can also place this plant in your pillowcase.



Wash your hands! This is most important. Washing your hands can help prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses. Although this may not strengthen our immune system, this will help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other bacteria and viruses.
